INCORPORATING YOUR WEDDING COLORS INTO

YOUR WEDDING OUTFIT

Even though you are expected to wear all white on your wedding day, there are a few ways to incorporate your wedding colors into your ensemble.

One way is to add a colored sash around the waist of your dress.

Another way is to find jewelry with the same hues as your wedding color. Depending on your color, there are many shades of pearls and diamond stones to chose from to integrate into your outfit.

Another alternative is to find a hair accessory to add to your hairstyle.

Adding a hint of color on the edge of your veil is another option.

Your shoes are a perfect way to add color to your outfit without going overboard.

Just because it’s a wedding doesn’t mean every aspect of your outfit must be white. However, you still want your dress to remain the center of attention so don’t over do it!

HOW TO CHOOSE YOUR WEDDING BOUQUET!

  • Posted on May 8, 2012 at 2:55 pm

Aside from choosing the type of flowers for your bouquet, you also need to choose your bouquet style.

The four popular bouquet styles are:

#1. Posy Bouquet

The Posy Bouquet is popular because of its simple, traditional look. This style best suits flowers such as roses, tulips, ranunculus and peonies.

#2. The Shower Bouquet

This style consists of a posy bouquet with a trail of flowers & greenery falling down in a teardrop shape. There are many different types of flowers that suit this bouquet style.

#3. The Sheath Bouquet

The Sheath Bouquet is long and slender. It’s designed to be carried over one arm. Ideally, this style is used for bouquets containing calla lilies and other similar flowers.

# 4. Creative Bouquets

Creative Bouquets are perfect for brides who want to stand out! This style doesn’t follow any specific design and allows you and your florist to use your imagination to create a unique, artistic arrangement.

Save Money on Your Wedding Dress

  • Posted on May 1, 2012 at 3:11 pm

HOW TO SAVE MONEY ON YOUR WEDDING DRESS!

1. Set A Budget

You should set-aside up to 10% of your budget to put towards your wedding dress.

2. Pay Attention to Minor Details

Fancy lacework and beading can dramatically increase the cost of a wedding dress. Focus more on the shape & cut of the dress.

 3. Hire a Seamstress

You may come across a dress you HAVE TO HAVE, but can’t afford. You can hire a seamstress to recreate the dress in a cheaper fabric.

4. Shop Online

You are more likely to save money if you shop around online at the variety of dresses and compare prices.

5. Buy From A Chain

Looking @ a chain store such as David’s Bridal is a fast way to explore some beautiful, yet cheap wedding dresses.

6. Buy a Used Dress

Ebay, Craigslist & many other online dress stores offer a numerous amount of used dresses to choose from.

7. Rent a Dress

If you find your DREAM dress, but there is no way you will be able to afford it, try renting! Although you won’t be able to keep it forever, you will still be able to experience your DREAM wedding day in your DREAM dress.

8. Borrow A Dress

Some close friends or families pass down wedding dresses. Seamstresses can alter the dress to fit your body perfectly. Not only does this save you A LOT of money, but also adds meaning to wear a dress that has significance.
